To enable comprehensive geo-redundancy and failover protection, multiple data centers and virtualizations (clusters) are required. We currently use three interconnected data centers in Switzerland for operating our ixArma software in the cloud:

Our geo-redundant server locations guarantee maximum availability, ensuring that your alarm solutions always function reliably — regardless of local outages or disruptions. With our three data centers (TIER 4/3) in Switzerland, we have the infrastructure in place to respond to all eventualities. Our ixArmaGo solutions are available directly through our websites or at no extra cost through specialized system integrators. ixArmaGo Cloud is a product designed for the cloud, available exclusively in our Tier 3/4 data centers in Switzerland and the EU. Please refer to our list of data centers.
This means you can get started with purely manual alarms and technical alarms using our REST API and XML connectivity without any upfront investment costs. For additional technical alarm inputs (fire alarm systems, intrusion detection, access control, etc.) you will need dedicated hardware (ixArmaBox or ixArmaBox+), which is available for purchase even on a small budget. We deliver the ixArmaBox pre-configured for your network with plug-and-play setup – you simply fill in the missing details. Our support team is happy to assist with setup and commissioning upon request.
This is possible both as a portal installation or on a dedicated virtual server (VPS). The advantage here is that all server resources are exclusively available to you. You have access and control at any time via a console and also through our app.
For large customers and customers with corresponding legal requirements, the software can also be installed on-site as an On-Premise solution and integrated into existing systems. It is precisely through system integration – even in complex cases – that we distinguish ourselves from the majority of our competitors. We don't just offer off-the-shelf products, but purpose-built and solution-oriented installations. ixArma offers the right solution for every purpose and every budget.

The cloud in Switzerland is operated and managed by a group company, ISANDO Technologies AG. In addition, we have OneICT (Nexus Group) available as an experienced partner for technical integrations (building management systems, fire alarm systems, smoke detection systems, etc.) in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
In the EU, we have a long-standing partnership with Leaseweb, who manage and maintain our data centers in the Netherlands and Germany.

With ixArmaGo portal installations, up to 20 customers share a virtual private server (VPS). The VPS are configured to provide sufficient performance resources. This also applies to the required ISANDO PBX, which is equipped with 100 call channels and thus has sufficient resources for voice alerting. The same applies to the SMS module and other software modules.
Of course, each customer receives their own installation, separate from other customers – meaning each customer's data is strictly segregated.
ixArmaGo on Cloud VPS: Customers who opt for their own VPS receive a dedicated virtual server for the ixArmaGo installation. This means all resources of that VPS are exclusively available to you, with your own PBX and your own SMS module, among other things. The additional cost of the VPS is always worthwhile if you want to customize your alarm server. Here too, we offer 2 free months when you pay annually in advance.

ixArmaGo is available in two plan variants. The ixArma Compact Plan is suitable if you want to include a fixed number of employees in the alerting process. Simply select a plan tier that corresponds to the number of employees to be alerted. Our system monitors the number of employees and automatically adjusts the plan if necessary. Customers can upgrade or downgrade at any time with 14 days' notice to the end of the month.
If you enjoy our product, we offer two free months as a discount with annual prepayment. You therefore pay the premium for only 10 months instead of 12.
Due to the flexible contract model, we exclusively offer payment by credit card or through the payment options of our payment provider Stripe, with immediate payment and immediate activation.
The ixArmaGo Person Plan is designed for short-term and time-limited use, e.g. for sports events and concerts. We have also used our system for large events, such as various trade fairs, countless concerts, and the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, where the authorities used our system.
This plan is currently being revised and is therefore not available at this time.
We do not want to tie customers down with long contract terms. If you like our solutions, stay with us. If you don't, feel free to look for another provider.
With our hop-on hop-off model, both our portal and VPS installations have only the restriction that we require a minimum term of 3 months for portal customers and 6 months for VPS customers, provided no setup and installation fee is paid. Naturally, we need to cover our installation costs.
Alternatively, you can agree on installation costs upfront – in which case you have monthly cancellation terms. We think that's fair.
Of course, you can also agree on longer terms after the trial period. We offer two months free with annual prepayment. This applies to both portal plans and VPS plans.
You can use our alarm server without hardware if you only want to trigger manual alarms via our user interface or the alarm app. You can also connect anything that is connectable via XML integration or REST API. In most cases, this allows building management systems from well-known manufacturers to be integrated without any issues.
If you want to connect your fire alarm system (FAS), smoke detection system, or BACnet via PLC, you will generally need our ixArmaBox or ixArmaBox+. Please contact us in advance – we are happy to advise you and inform you about the various protocols we have integrated (e.g. ESPA, ESPA-X, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, etc.).
We offer our ixArmaBox with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, pre-configured and ready for installation, currently at CHF 1,190.00 (€1,290.00) net plus shipping costs. If you need more performance due to higher connectivity requirements, the ixArmaBox+ with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage is available at CHF 1,490.00 (€1,590.00) net plus shipping costs.
Important: Despite a significant rise in the price of storage media (RAM and storage), we are currently not planning any price adjustments for devices we have in stock.
The pre-configuration of our devices includes not only the installation of our software, but also the storage of the customer's network details. This makes it possible to support customers during setup and integration with existing systems via paid remote support.
